Every pilot is trained to make speedy and sound decisions under pressure. They have flying hours so that they will be aware of the many troubles that they can encounter while in the air.
Pilots receive special training and education to know the different strategies and techniques in operating an aircraft.
These pilots have the responsibility to bring crews and passengers to their destination safely. They are given a license which can prove that they have the knowledge in efficiently operating air crafts.
A blog on last December’s plane crash clearly shows the pilot’s error and how the crash could have been prevented. The author in the blog entitled “An Update on the University City Plane Crash” said that flying an airplane is risky and so pilots are shouldered with more responsibility.
I agree with the author in saying that not only crews and passengers of the airplane are in danger in case there would be a crash. Residents and people under the plane would also be put at risk and could suffer from massive property damages.
The pilot that has caused accidents similar to this should be given heavier penalties and retaliation for his negligence. These errors should never be tolerated even if there was no casualty as it could lead to something more serious.
